UK-Skeptics is a UK registered not-for-profit organization (No: 05819701) which is administered by director John Jackson and a board of non-executive directors.

As a not-for-profit organization, UK-Skeptics does not have shareholders. Donations received and money accrued by UK-Skeptics cannot be shared out amongst its members; they have to be retained by UK-Skeptics for use in achieving its aims.

Aims and Objectives:

  1. To complement other skeptics' organisations and the work they do;
  2. To promote skepticism and critical thinking skills in society by providing educational material;
  3. To demonstrate, through educational lectures and electronic and print media, how to evaluate paranormal, supernatural and pseudoscientific claims and the consequences of accepting such claims without question;
  4. To encourage and perform objective and impartial research in areas where it is needed;
  5. To question, challenge and oppose individuals or organizations making claims for products or services that do not stand up to scrutiny.

Help UK-Skeptics:

Make a donation. UK-Skeptics is self-financing and we can only achieve what we can afford to achieve.

All donations are gratefully received and are used solely to achieve UK-Skeptics' aims.

Bookstore. We have set up an on-line bookstore which supplies books that will be of interest to skeptics and science readers.

The books are the same price as sold elsewhere but we make a small commission on each sale. By buying through us you can help us financially without paying extra.

Amazon affiliate bookstore. Items for sale are at the same price as on the Amazon site; however, we make a small commission if items are ordered through this site.

If you buy anything from Amazon, please consider doing do via our store. We make commission on all sales - not just the featured books.

Shop. We have set up an on-line shop with various items for sale. Some are UK-Skeptics branded but many are generally fun items with a skeptical theme.
